Who processes your data

What we collect

Name and surname, date of birth, sex, address, municipality, phone number, profession and workplace.

Your email address, taken from the account you sign in with. You do not type it into the form again.

The date and time of your consent, and the version of this policy you were shown at that moment.

We do not ask for, and you should not enter, a national identification number.

Why, and on what basis

Your data is used solely to consider your application and, if it is accepted, to maintain the party membership record.

Membership of a political party reveals political opinion, which is special category personal data. The lawful basis is your explicit consent. Consent is voluntary and you may withdraw it at any time.

Who can see it

Only the party administrators, in order to review applications and maintain the membership record.

Your data is never sold and is not shared with third parties unless the law requires it.

It is stored with our technical processor, Supabase, on servers in the European Union.

How long we keep it

Accepted applications are kept for the duration of membership, and afterwards for as long as the party needs them for its statutory records.

Rejected applications are kept as a record of the decision, but you may ask for them to be erased.

Your rights

You have the right of access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, and withdrawal of consent.

When you ask for erasure, the personal fields are removed, but the record of the decision itself and the membership number remain, because the party has a legitimate obligation to keep a record of its own decisions.

You may lodge a complaint with the Agency for Personal Data Protection (AZLP), azlp.mk.

Your membership certificate

If your application is accepted you receive a certificate, visible only to you while signed in.

You can create a public link to it yourself if you want to share it. That is your choice and it is off by default, because a publicly readable certificate reveals that you belong to a political party. You can revoke the link at any time.
